Advice on Upgrade

after some advice trying to gradually upgrade hifi,, got reasonable sony cd player9030, recently bought marantz 7001 on ebay, now looking to upgrade speakers thinking about quad 11 or monitor audio instead of current eltax. would the amp and speakers be good match,using qed speaker cable and basic ecosse connects ? regards daverob

hello dave,quite like eltax speakers very underated and the danes know a thing or two about speakers.how about mission m33i can be picked up for a decent price or the acoustic energy neo 3's.as for the speakers you mentioned try and have a demo with your equipment.good luck,gregory.
