advice on the new samsung plasmas!

Am looking to get one of these plasma tvs, PS51D6900 or the PS51D8000! can any body tell me when they will be reviewed and when they will be on sale and if any of them are 3d as am not looking for 3d! thanks for any advice

Samsung appear quite reticent to supply their high end plasmas for review (the 6900 was reviewed by WHFS&V quite late in its model year and the C7000 never has been), so who knows when they'll be reviewed. News page on this site and perhaps Samsung's own website probably the best places to look for release dates.

Both of those plasmas are at the top of Samsung's new range and as such will have 3D. But don't forget, it is an option, you don't have to use it unless you want to. So when they are released and if their pictures are stunning in 2D, it really ought to make no difference to your choice, as you simply don't have to use it.
