advice on hd

Hi,first time ive posted on this forum.I currently have a plasma tv which ive had for 5yrs and want to upgrade to HD,ive read that the TX-P42x10b is a good tv but is it worth compromising the fact that its not full HD over the TH-42pz85b,any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'd recommend going for a 1080p set if you can. A friend of mine has the 46PZ85B and it's superb.ÿ

The 42-G10 Panasonic is an excellent Plasma as well, just released and is a 5-star product the review is on this very site.

What's going to be your main use of the TV? If it's mainly for watching regular Freeview then I wouldn't worry too much about Full HD. However, if you are going to watch a lot of Blu-Rays on it, it's worth considering. The main thing to do is go and check out these TVs for yourself so you can make an informed decision.
