Advice on Denon ASD-51N

Hi im just about to spend some cash on a devive to kill two birds with one stone (with any luck) and would appriciate some advice please, Im looking to buy Denon ASD-51N firstly to act as an iphone dock and secondly to use the vast music library on my pc with the intention of buying some sort of a nas at a later stage. has anyone got one of these or seen one at work? i would love any opinions or other suggestions on kit that can do the same or better.

I've got the older ASD-3N and while it sounds good. it's pants to own. I'm always having to reboot it and it is so slow at scrolling through the songs. I use a 2nd gen 32g Touch into a Denon 2808. Going on my experience I would be very cautious. Sorry can't help with any alternatives.
