I have intended to upgrade my old TV with the 'What HiFi' midrange best buy seperates for Home Cinema.
As a result I have already purchased the Phillips 42PFL9664 TV and the SONY BDP-S760 Bluray.
My problem is that the unit I have got to put my Amp and centre speaker into has fixed shelves which are 15.5 cm apart, therefore restricting my choice. The recomended Denon and B&W setup are both too large to fit in. Having looked through the listings it seems there are no quality amps which are so thin. My budget is £1000 or preferably less for both speaker and amp, and I want a 5 speaker setup, not virtual. Also I dont need a bluray in the amp as I already have one. Getting a different unit to put them in is not an option as my wife spent a lot of time choosing this one!! Any ideas gratefully received
