I am about to take delivery of a Samsung ue55es6800 TV, I intend to connect it to my Roksan Kandy Amp for sound so will need some kind of DAC inbetween. I currently have a Marantz CD6002 CDP & would like to move to a hard disk based solution for my music as I am fed up with putting CD's in and crave a shuffle function! I want to retain the quality of my music playback though (Monitor Audio RS5 Speakers). should I - 1. Store both music and movies on HDD attached to TV and connect to Roksan amp via DAC such as Arcam RLink (£149) or 2. Store movies on TV HDD and invest in a Pioneer N-50 streming device with DAC capabilitiy and store music on a seperate HDD attached to this (£299). or..... Thanks!!

Does this tv not have analogue outputs that you could plug straight into your amp?

No analogue outs unfortunately, just optical.
