I'm attaching a TV to the wall and need it to be as close as possible- i've found a bracket that can do this but most HDMI cables are going to get in the way as they come out quite far when fitted in the back because they don't have so much flex. Can anyone suggest a decent cable- around the £40 mark that can help solve this problem? I know the cheaper ones can have more flex but i didn't want to have to compomise on the quality of the picture. Thanks

Hunt around and you can get HDMI cables that have a 90 degree turn in the connector. I cannot think where I have seen such, but I have.

Thanks, ive had a look but i don't seem to be able to match any with reviews to see if they're any good. And it seems i can get an angled adapter for the cable very cheaply, but will this reduce the impact of a decent cable?

I am sure they are cheap because there is not much to them. So long as the connection is secure, there should be no reason why they should have any influence over picture/sound quality.

You will find another thread that started recently about HDMI Myth or Reality. All the quality info you need is in there.
