ADM9T, anyone aware of the improvements?

Hello. I'm thinking about the ADM9T for a second system, linked to the iMac.

I once owned the ADM9.1 but found them a little rolled off on the treble, and a bit closed in. Does anyone know of the tweaks involved making them slightly more detailed and revealing?

Hi westerniser,

I haven't heard the 9Ts so can't say what the improvements sound like, but as I understand it, it's a new DAC and pre-amp board, plus an improvement with the crossover.

I've got the 9.1 model, but AVI applied a tweak to the crossover they learnt when creating the 9Ts that is supposed to improve treble integration.

I couldn't really hear the improvment, but then again, I didn't think there was anything wrong with them in the first place.

If you email the manufacturer I'm sure they'll get back to you very quickly with as much info as you want.
