I have an opportunity to grab a second hand, year old Marantz PM7005 for a fair price. I will pair it with Q Acoustics 3020 and Project debut carbon.

One thing I want to make sure before buying is - what would be the most convenient way of adding a bluetooth adapter so it would work with 7005's DAC? The sources would be Android aptX capable smartphone, and a laptop PC.

Would something like this do the job?

Hi - i'm going off topic a bit, but if you don't have the Q Acoustics yet, I suggest looking at Dali Zensor 3 instead - as I found Q Acoustics 3050 sounding pretty harsh with Marantz SR5010 reciever. The Q Acoustics were burnt in, the Marantz maybe not.

Anyway, goodluck with your quest :)

Thanks for reply. I own 3020 speakers not 3050. I've read around the internet that Marantz integrated amps and Q Acouustics speakers make a nice pair. Will find out soon.

Arcam rblink has coaxial out to connect to an external dac. Also has it's own inbuilt dac so at least you'll have options for future amps too.
