I HAVE AN APPLE 80G CLASSIC THAT IS NOW FULL (MOSTLY MY MUSIC) BUT SOME IS MY WIFES .I HAVE 6000 SONGS ON MY I TUNES LIBRARY ON THE PC , 4000 OF WHICH ARE ON THE I POD . HOW WOULD I ADD A SECOND I POD WITHOUT IT COPYING ALL THE SAME TRACKS IE THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN CHECKED ? WE REALLY NEED OUR OWN I PODS NOW SO A 160 G WOULD NOT HELP MUCH.
THANKS IN ANTICIPATION

It's easy to add a second iPod to iTunes - when you plug it into your PC, you can give it an identity, and set up a specific profile for that player - ie choose exactly which tunes from your library you copy over. Easiest way to do this is to create a playlist(s) from your existing library that contains all the songs you want on the second 'Pod.

I find go to iTunes Edit Preference and make sure you not auto sync. I choose manual then "drag" songs myself otherwise they jumble up and I get my wife's pop music sync.
