i'm looking for a pair of speakers to use as monitors when djing at home, and these caught my eye.

rated 4star by whathifi but at a price of £450, and i'm not sure how old the review is. I have seen a new pair at £245:

has anyone here tried these speakers? a good quality speaker for that money?

i'm looking for fast paced, with good bass. will be using them mostly for listening to techno, house, dub.

also, will a nad c325bee be able to power them well enough?

thanks for any advice

Be careful about prices on Pro equipment sites. They often quote the price for each speaker as in this example. (Lots of pros only use one speaker.)

Your link mentions 'monitor' (singular). Their listings for pairs of monitors use the plural and listings like this one (where the singular 'monitor' is used) are priced individually.

Call DV247 before ordering to make sure.
