A little Desktop System

These days most of my listening comes via the Pc with my little headphone Dac and amp. Having kids and job i rarely get time for a proper listen on my main set up in the lounge, not that i get to sit in the lounge much. I always had a sweet spot for Musical fidelity kit and just on a whim purchased the Merlin Amp and speaker combo for just £300 pounds needless to say i'm grinning from ear to ear at the sound coming from the MF kit. Pefect for near field listening with a refined sound that i love, best £300 quid i have spent. So just thought i'd make a little post.

Excellent, and vastly reduced. Did you get it via Amazon from Germany?

It was a uk based company from Ebay. The system has the MF V-90 dac hooked up with Mf's power supply upgrade. I'll be spending hours sat on my arse, great little system that just washes over you with a nice rhythm and a non fatiguing sound.

Also worth considering is QAcoustic's BT3. Now under £200. Arguably not as stylish but less boxes.
