8SE Troubles

well well if I wasnt the one know with my foot in mouth after listening to all talking about pick up issues now Iam having them. The latest is with Tori Amos. Anyone else have this CD with 8SE?

I think this might be another notch on the headboard marked "Cyrus servo evolution transport loading issues"...!

checkyour software release level! (press and hold the on/off button for a few seconds it should flash up V1.6 or V1.7 - at least the 6 SE does and I believe they use the same transport and software...V1.7 is the one you want, if its 1.6 then it can be upgraded (for free hopefully) by Cyrus.

I never had trouble with mine in Canada until recently, and the latest victim is Tori Amos new one. All I can get is disc error lately from new discs

I checked my software and its 1.6 August 2008, hmmm but Im all the way in Canada

weird, every time i'm considering one of these, a thread pops up that puts me off. hope you get it sorted mike.

The 1.7 firmware and a new laser fixed it for me.

Mind you Tori has lost it since Under the Pink! (Last time I saw her live)
