Has anyone listened to those 8D Music titles available on YouTube?
I have and they just did my head in. Much too use to proper stereo I guess.....

No such luxuries under lockdown. I'll give it a go laterSeems like a gimmick to me and you'd need to be smoking a joint to appreciate it
Headphones are essential, the joint? Well........Only really works through headphones. Not sure if it would work with stereo speaker set-up, maybe you'd need to run it through a surround sound system to hear it in free air... Seems like a gimmick to me and you'd need to be smoking a joint to appreciate it
That's what it's all about....The Billie Eilish is a bit heavy on the panning
Starts off weirdly different then does you head in....I don't think I could just sit down and listen to that but it's kinda neat. Especially on headphones with great imaging.
Substitute a large Scotch....No such luxuries under lockdown. I'll give it a go later
No8D???! What is 8D? Feeling really old all of a sudden. Do I want it? Should I want it? 😂
Are you using headphones?Never heard of this, and listening to it on my laptop I can't say I am minded to investigate further.
Insipid vocals...
Headphones are essential apparently, still cannot understand what that they are doing to get this sort of effect but it's not as good as Dr. Cheskys binaural soundsNo. If the song had appealed at all I might have been tempted. Not that I own any headphones at the moment...
I thought that was just an extreme demo. If that's it then the novelty has already worn off! That's what it's all about....
No, there are loads of tracks recorded like this and they all sound very weird.....I thought that was just an extreme demo. If that's it then the novelty has already worn off!
Bit like the ultra-wide spatial stereo once played live on Radio 1 and Tomorrows World, think they just called it 3D stereo, that was very impressive on speakers - never to be heard of again.
There isn't one. It's novelty value for the millenial snowflake generation, they'll adore it as they've never heard what real stereo imaging sounds like.I fail to see the point of it.
That just about says it all..... thanks Doug. There isn't one. It's novelty value for the millenial snowflake generation, they'll adore it as they've never heard what real stereo imaging sounds like.
