I totally agree with you as myself do hear dance music at home and it´s only reasonable that others do it too ,as in parties or disco´s one is not there to listen to all detail in the music played, but at home one can listen to the music one expects to listen while in a party or dance music event.
We are in 2024 and i stoped listening to dance music in 2010 ,but some monthes ago i did a three DAT compliation of what i used to hear starting in early 90´s till 2006, as for a lot of years i didn´t heard them and ready to hear them as if they were new ,
as we forget all details of music heard many times when new and already a number of years appart to be heard again with a kind of nostalgic pleasure,
in my opinion the best made came out between late 90´s till 2005 and many released after i heard it using spotify or dedicated sites, i could listen to the last trends , this talking about good dance music with a level of quality only made by who knows in reality what is a good composition in this diversified kind of music.
