4k is it worthy

Sorry to join the debate late.

4K will take off and hopefully by the end of the year we will have real 4k discs. I suspect we will be waiting around 2 years for full intergration of 4k into our living rooms, but in the meantime buying a 4k ebnabled device will do wonders for your 1080p content upscaled.

I have seen Sony's 4k TV and indeed thier projectors. Every time I have been massively impressed with it.

Most of that has been said, but thats my two cents on it.

The "Mastered In 4K" movies I've watched so far have had fantastic picture quality, and they're just 1080p, so can't wait until we get some real 4K examples to enjoy!

The first bluray release of the film was grainy and not a great transfer. This one is great to demonstrate what the system can do visually" Can be had for around £9 on a well know auction site
