May I suggest this.... http://whathifi.com/inside-this-issue/

Also theres an Ultimate guide to tv's out on 5th of June. http://whathifi.com/forums/t/11719.aspx

Most of us on here would reccomend a plasma at that screen size. Better motion handiling and blacks. Although this years sets might be alot closer in performance. The magazine should reveal all though.

EDIT: Surely 2 links for your magazines deserves a free hob *** ?

I would of course not object to being pay'd in electronic goods....... just off the top of my head say a nicd HD reciever and some B&W speakers.

Seriously though I've always wanted some B&W speakers. A long while back ( 10 years guesstimate) we where visiting familly in Sheffield and my dad was after some new ear phones. So we ended up at Moorgate acoustics in Sheffield. While my dad was testing earphones I got chatting to the sales guy and said I was interested in getting a surround system in the nearish future. Anyway he said the cinema demo room was free and gave us a demo. They had a B&W system already set up with the 603 floorstanders and the matching speakers. I was completely blown away by the sound quality, not to mention the bass from the sub.

Oh and after trying several alegadly very good Senheisers my dad ended up with the Grado 60 phones. About £80 if I remember correctly. Absolutely miles ahead of anything else they had at a similar price. We also listened to the upmarket Grado's, forget the model number but my god what a sound. I couldn't believe a pair of headphones could be this good. Unbelievable. I think they where called somthing like reference, they had orange rings around the outside of the earphones.
