3D upgrades for Blu-Ray players

Dear Sony UK. Come on Sony give us a BDP-770 with onboard decoding and Multi outputs, or the software upgrade for 3D on our BDP-760 players, that I was told that by one of your dealers would be available. This was the only thing that made me buy one, I feel sadly let down by you as a company. Given that Sony can add so many features to its PS3 consuls, surely it is not to much to ask for some help for your other customers. I have been a faithful customer of Sony for many years, but I now feel fed-up with you Sony, I want to stay with you but you are making it very hard to stay loyal. Does anybody else out there feel like this towards companies like Sony? Tony Barnett. Fed up and rebellious.

I'm no sure there was ever a suggestion that the BDP-S760 would be firmware-upgradeable for 3D: the reason it's possible on the PS3 is that machine's use of a high-speed/high-capacity processor.

But with you on the loss of the multichannel analogue outs when the 760 was replaced by the 770 - big mistake, IMHO. Although IIRC it's something being put right on the BDP-S780 shown at CES last month...
