3D Sony BDP-S760 Dillema

I Might sound a little dense hear, but its been over 12 months since I dabbled into the hi-fi market when I bought my Sony BDP-S760 Blue Ray player, Which i am very please with! Does anyone know if there is a upgrade to make this player 3D compatible or am I barking up the wrong tree hear? I dont want to replace My TV as yet (50" panasonic PZ81) but might do if a decent set becomes available of the same size in the new year! Oh by the way do 3D blue ray discs play 2D aswell?
