Hi again been and viewed the 46" panasonic tv today and i'm very impressed with what i saw.. My question is....is the 3D image affected in anyway, the further away from the screen you are? I was unable to stand back further while watching the screen in store, as the glasses were fixed to a pedestal. thx

In my view, the further away you are from a 3D tv the better, preferably not even in the shop!

IME the effect seems to work better if the screen fills as much as possible of your field of vision, and there aren't any obviously real 3D objects to distract you in your peripheral field.

Most of the more convincing demonstrations I've seen have been in darkened rooms.

ie: as close to cinema as possible then? ive just measured at 2.8 metres from screen to viewing position. As my tv wall is chocolate brown and my blinds are pretty good.. the 50" panasonic should fit the bill then mr E?
