3D projectors

All the talk seems to be about 3D TV's but it seems to me that you would get the best out of 3D by using a projector rather than a TV. Are there any 3D projectors on the market for home use in the £1,000 to £1,500 bracket?

The IFA show in early September promises some 3D projector launches, but at the higher-end level...

Is this true? I have seen pj's advertised as 3d ready,i.e 120hz capability.

In the US, certainly - where you can buy the likes of the '3D Ready' Optoma HD66. But that's only 720p. And not here....

Well i hope they do have 3d projectors coming within a few years as i am not interested in buying a new tv just purchased my sony 1 yr ago but would love a 3d projector 1080p of course no less thats the only way i am going to spend more money for 3D

Lets hope they can retail them for under £2000
