just curious to know if the 3d blu ray discs contain the ordinary blu ray version on them?

Not sure if it was just the promo edition but the Alice in Wonderland 3d blu ray won't play on a none 3d tv, even in 2d, it detects that something in the setup isn't 3d and won't load.
