Better than 7. Love the Renee Walker character. That final 10 minutes tonight was a bit gruesome mind, surprised they got away with that brutality....even on 24.

Agree about Gregory Itzin as Charles Logan, that twitchy, shifty performance is superb.

For me, without much thought, it's 5, 8, 1, 7, 3, 2, 4, 6 in rank of my overall enjoyment.

Kind of pleased it's run it's course though, though after watching one I never wanted it to stop!

Certainly has moved up a gear in the second half. I nearly stopped watching it after the first few episodes as it was so dull and unoriginal. The return of Logan has made a huge difference, resulting in far less screen time for the wet rag President Taylor. The Jack out of control angle is developing nicely, but I'm not surprised that they couldn't come up with a strong enough idea for a 9th day.

Graham_Thomas:Season 6 gets the clanger award for me. 7 was great. I enjoyed the first 2 episodes of 8 greatly, even though we all knew that you know who wasn't going to get that flight to you know where with you know who. [Just in case I spoiled it for someone!]

I must admit I prefer watching the box sets and 4/5 episodes a night, I might save up a few weeks worth of this season......

I must say I quite fancy The Sopranos, you get get the lot for £50 or so.

I love 24 but The Sopranos is in a different league.

Well, it's all over. Who else thought the ending a bit weak to say the least? [please don't give any spoilers away for those waiting for Blu-ray/DVD releases of season 8]

Still a good season though. Felt a bit deflated after it.
