I am holding out for a 2015 av reciever, i wonder what can we expect, i am hoping we get a USB 3.0 socket on the front panel for connecting a 4K cam/palmcorder, also i think we will get more dolby atmos enabled recievers.

What are your thoughts ?

I would expoect the likes of Sony to include Atmos in theor 1050 replacement and others to follow with it filtering down in to the mid range receivers. Not sure how important usb 3.0 is to many buyers at present....

Okay thanks bb, it will probably be a £500 denon i'm after, maybe the AVR-X2200W. *good* but i'll have to see when released.

if you wait a few more months, the x3100 or even the x4100 will come down into your price bracket. The x4000 came down to £529 late last year.. :)

Any ideas when the 2015 recievers will be released, will it be april ?

News of the 2015 models is trickling through, and we'll have a First Test of the Onkyo TX-NR3030 Dolby Atmos model in our June issue of the magazine (on sale May 6th.) We've just reported on the new Sony models, so hopefully will get them (and others) for review in the next two-three months:

I'm getting all excited now, the 2100,3100,4100 and 5200 av recievers have all been removed fron denon's website.

They're back on the website. Denon isn't Apple. In the past, the older AV receiver models of different manufacturers have remained on the website long after announcement of new products.
