which would be best suited to kef 3005sek2 speakers ,the denon 1910 or onkyo 606 which i allready have,am i going to get a better surround sound from 1910,it will be used for mostly movies.
I think it will be a resounding yes for the Denon 1910.
I had an Onkyo 606 with Kef 2005.3s. Good.
I then upgraded the fronts to B&W 683s. Great improvement.
Then I bought the Denon 2310 and the improvement in surround effects and sound quality was amazing - to the point where I started to think that I should have only upgraded the receiver only (mind you the bass from 683s in movies is incredible).
My suspicion is that the 1910 is probably not that far behind the 2310 and should make a significant difference in surround. I did not audition the 1910 however.
THANKS,THAT WHAT I WAS THINKING ,CAN NOT GET A 1910 ANYWARE LOCAL(CARDIFF AREA).I LIKE THE SOUND OF 606 BUT MAYBE I CAN GET SOMETHING BETTER.
ON ANOTHER NOTE SOULD I BE USING A AMP THAT UPSCALES TO 1080P RATHER THAN 1080i WITH A 1080P TV TAKING INTO ACCOUNT SKY HD THAT ONLY DOES 1080i,THANKS.
