yes but i like more music and sounds without modern electronical tunes but thanks for the recomendation

i like more sounds like this:

or music made by handmade instruments only (not modern stuff)

Got it! Not my thing, but to each is onw. *music2*

How about 'Hergest Ridge' by Mike Oldfield (1974). A very mellow, almost introverted album, but with nice tunes and a really organic feel.

Draw the curtains, light a few candles, put your slippers on and draw up an easy chair....

Album wise I'd suggest Joni Mitchell "Blue" or if you like a calming voice then try Melody Gardot's first album "Worrisome Heart".

As a left field choice and more in line with the link you've shared I'd recommend an app called Calm. It has a decent number calming sounds.

I relax with a bit of a 'shout-along' to this kind of thing ...

... you can keep your whale song and nose flutes and old 'proggies' in frocks etc.

F0

One of the very very few artists to release (as opposed to re-release) something with a dark green DR rating in the last 2 years.

With music like F0 I find myself wondering when the vocals will start. And end up being disappointed.

Levon Minassian - Songs from a World Apart .

The wonderful sound of the Doudouk, very relaxing and beautiful.

Try this by Evelyn Glennie .

And this by Ablaye Cissoko .

Try The Gloaming, Danish String Quartet, Olivia Chaney to name but few.

Listen to BBC R3 for ideas, especially the daily 'In Tune' programme.

This stuff benefits from being listened to on high fidelity equipment.

PS Forgot Sam Lee who uses traditional instruments and tunes combined with modern sampling and synth loops.

You've made some great suggestions... certainly to my taste anyway!
