Hi,
Just got back from the Metrocentre in Gateshead and the huge HMV had a stack of Pure Avanti Flow's they were selling for £179.99. Also the Pure Sensia was the same price. Don't know if this is store specific but anyone who lives near the North East may want one?
Checked the website and...
More of a don't buy rather than a do but I recently got a Asus HD2. In theory a wonderful piece of kit with the ability to add your own HDD, NAS capability and plenty of file format compatability - in actuality a rather buggy piece of hardware with only a small list of compatible drives and the...
Only guaranteed way to get the best connection - if you can do it I'd go for it. I would have but the boss muttered something about aesthetics and how it looked which sort of made my mind up

I use these

If you hunt around they may be cheaper - I got them for less at PC World of all places - think it was a mis-price but I didn't complain. They were a bit niggly at...
As in the thread quoted I use the 'static' approach. Having 2 young children there is always a channel with a logo on or a DVD is left on the menu screen after they have finished watching and due to my poor parenting skills it sometimes isn't taken off straight away. 30 minutes of pure static...
Found this article on another website on how figures are being massaged!

My DVD.co.uk order was on 'backorder' so they have just been cancelled and Amazon has my business! As I used to use their rental service I also get an extra 5% off any DVD/Blu Ray orders so both for the grand price of £10.80! Thanks for the heads up.
On a slight tangent and it will never happen it would be handy for Apple to get into bed with Microsoft so it is possible to play rented/bought movies from iTunes on the 360 rather than having to invest in Apple TV. I know Microsoft has Zune Marketplace but iTunes seems to offer much more...
Invest in a USB stick, pop the media on there and plug it into the front of the 360. Unless you have the 'N' wireless dongle for the console and a compatible router and PC it is difficult to get a constant stream of HD content. There is a system diagnostic setting on the XBox which allows you...
I don't know if it was the best researched article but I have never seen DSGi chains stock brands such as Chord, QED or van den Hul so what they are selling for between £20 and £120 and the fact they can discount them to ensure a sale makes me wonder.
Also, what is perceived to be a higher end...
I know this is a hot topic, it's all been said before and I really don't want to set the ball rolling again but I was intrigued it popped up on a 'Yoof' news programme.....

It will have been supplied when you had the wireless network router installed - try looking underneath it or at the documentation sent by Virgin. It is probably a series of letters and numbers or a really obscure password, enter this into the Sony, exactly as it appears, it will be case...
