I agree in that going for a plasma will being about a good improvement over the LCD TV. Make sure you get one you can calibrate the greyscale on.

Hi Rains Getting the Pioneer calibrated will take the picture to another level. I have had my 42" Pioneer calibrated and the picture is amazing ... yet I thought it was good before. Detail, depth and sharpness go through the roof. Low quality source material becomes more watchable.

Hi You simply need an optical cable out of the Samsung to the Denon. I recommend the Chord optical cable. Iplayer in hd is very impressive. LOVEFiLM is hd on Samsung tv also, not sure they are 5.1 but the quality is good over decent broadband. Good luck.

The Power Amps were good in there time and I would image they can still hold there own, I found a review online from Grampahone and they tested them with Rogers £1300 speakers and the review was very positive and they had no problem driving them. Interesting you mention CD player, the current...

I commute and use my phones a lot, I have the Shure 4 series and my wife has the the 2 series. I have had mine for 3 years and they are stil going very strong, the cable is nice and thick and the sound is top notch, plus they block sound and do not leak.

In the June magazine there is a review of the Sony SMP-N200 and the review states it can receive Netflix. I have this box with the latest firmware but no Netflix? Am I missing something whathifi?
