Thanks... that is what I've always reverted back to after testing the different options. I don't get the DTS Master light on the amp light up if I use LPCM but that won't affect sound quality so I don't really care about that. Just wish they would fix the audio problems - Netflix doesn't output...

Nope, just E4 HD (not sure if it does it with the SD E4 channel, if there is a HD version I never watch SD). Blu-Ray films, PS3 games, all other Sky channels are fine. Not really worried, it's just annoying! :wall:

This is still happening, anyone got any ideas yet? And yes – it's the right rear speaker when Big Bang Theory is on, like someone said when the canned laughter kicks in.

Again, thank you very much! It's currently set at 80hz, I might try 70 to see if it sounds any better with a little extra bass passing through the speakers. At the moment the sub is quite 'boomy'. Please don't assume I know anything – all help and advice is always appreciated!

According to the spec page on Jamo's website – http://jamo.co.uk/eu-en/products/s-426-specifications/ the crossover frequency is 2500. What does that even mean?!

Hi Gareth, Thanks for replying, that all makes sense. Am I right in that the lower the crossover setting the more bass gets passed through the speakers or is it the other way around?! Looking forward to opening, setting up and testing later on when they get here! :clap:

Hi all, I'm on the lookout for a new 5.1 speaker setup. Don't need a sub at this stage but already have one. Using the good old Sony STR D800 amp and some pretty average Sony 'out the box' speakers and would look to upgrade. I fancy floorstanding L & R, and don't want to spend more than...

I'm sure improvement in sound quality is some sort of arrangement that the manufacturers of expensive racks cooked up along with naive bribable reviewers... it must be the only way they can justify a rack costing £800 being better than one costing £80 that looks as nice. Ok... So I am now the proud owner of a Sony STR-DH800 :) Was going to test it with my current speakers and then upgrade but can't because they connections are incompatible (long story... they have weird plugs, they came with a now ancient DVD/Amp combo). So... I need some speakers sooner than...
