I have better look and the Chord Clearway cost not 20, but 10 GPB more tham the Van damme. But the sound..............

I can buy for a reasonable price a Chord Clearway speakercable. Also Van Damme LC-OFC 4 mm speakercable. The Chord cost 20 GBP more. Both are 2 x 2m and terminated with plugs. Which one will be better if you like a warm and smooth sound?

Surprise; it will not be the Wahrfedale. Heard the Q acoustics 3050 and find it a better speaker than the Wharfedale. Also heard the Tannoy xt6f. Horrible and unlistenable bright. Even the MA Silver 6 sounds better! (and warmer). Is a NAD c356 a good amp for the Q acoustics with rock and metal...

I Will buy the wharfedale 230. i like a full body and warm sound and hate shrill and bright highes. But which amp with these speakers? NAD c356bee, mf m3si? No japanese, i hate the sound of these amps.

At the moment a very old amp. I will buy another together with speakers. Streamer is Cambridge cxn. Wharfedale maybe better than Q acoustics? I heard Dali Zensor. For me the highes are too much.

For rock i like a warm full bodied sound with forgiving highes. I thought the Q acoustics will be a good choice. But now i saw there is this Wharfedale. Anyone listen to it?

Yeah; the Cambridge cxn streamer is very good. It was nice if the CXC60 amp was more sounded like the NAD; warm, full bodied, good bass. But it isn't. Q acoustics 3050 bright???? I mean this i a warm sounding speaker. MA are always on the bright side.
