Ok, thanks Al ears... Yes, I am very happy with the carbon. Just listening to some old lp's now and its sweet. Glad I spent the extra few quid. In the future, what would you recommend for a replacement stylus? perhaps the Ortofon blue? that gets good reviews

Having done loads of research and reading reviews I decided to put the extra money towards a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon, which duly arrived today from Richer Sounds. It took only a short time to unpack, set up and calibrate (10-15 mins) and straight away playing vinyl. Man, this is a nice turntable...

just rediscovered my old collection of Gong lps...lol This is far out stuff and very good. I used to listen to this stuff about 35 years ago when experimenting with 'substances' as a teenager does....lol Camembert Electrique and Flying Teapot...far out man!!

I recently did the same....got rid of a pile of old stuff, and bought a Denon DM39 and Dali Zensor 1 package from RicherSsounds for £299...Very impressive sound from this little package. CD, FM/DAB, USB input, optical/digital and analogue. You can't beat this little setup for the money.

I love the Denon, great for occassional cd playing and more often DAB radio/USB memory stick use. Less often TT use. Great sound from this unit for the price. Just wanted an old vintage amp to compare sound (mess about with), running through the Dalis but with option to use the Denon for radio etc

Apologies if this sounds daft.!! I want to add a second amp to my set up. an old british classic (A&R Cambridge A60) Would it be possible to have 2 amps and switch between them without dis-connecting all the time. I would like to set it upto my Denon DM39 and Dali zensors, Cambridge Audio...
