Very interesting - I'm looking at a new TV ( sooner than later) and was pondering the QLED / OLED question, or waiting. Problem is, how long do you wait lol ? Think, if I do choose, it will be LG OLED but I'll be thinking about screen burn.

I am thinking of buying a Sony sound bar and wonder if it will replace my AV receiver as well as replacing all of my 7 wired speakers and my sub woofer. The sound bar was well received by What Hi Fi review.

Hi I'm confused about the speaker cable connections to the Onkyo. The Onkyo only connects by placing the wire into the connections ie can't connect by Banana plugs. So I think I need about 40 metres of cable , is Chord Company Leyline Ok ? Do really need to ensure front speaker cables are same...

Hi, on the subject of the 609. I think I have to upgrade to this model to get the 3D picture from my Blu-Ray. I can of course get 3D when I connect Blu Ray direct to TV but not when I connect through my Yamaha. Do you think the 609 is the model to go for or should I maybe go for some other AV...

Just to add to the pile - I stupidly spent £101.90 on 2x Wireworld Chroma 6 HDMI Cable Chroma 6 1.0M/A. Should've bought cheaper version and saved £90. More fool me. I swapped the Cables with cheaper ones and I couldn't see the difference on my Pansonic TX-P55VT30.

I have a Yamaha DSP AX763 - do I needc to upgrade to say a Onkyo TX-NR609 because of the 3D - Panasonic TX-P55VT30 that I've just bought? I paly it through the Yamaha and all seems good?
