Speaker cable from 7 speakers to Onkyo 609

Hi I'm confused about the speaker cable connections to the Onkyo. The Onkyo only connects by placing the wire into the connections ie can't connect by Banana plugs. So I think I need about 40 metres of cable , is Chord Company Leyline Ok ? Do really need to ensure front speaker cables are same length etc ?

yes you can use banana plugs. remove the blocking pieces first. similar but I believe the software for setting them up works out any issues like that.

As Nads has pointed out, you can use banana plugs.

I normally use a small screw to pop in the end of the plug, give it a small turn clockwise and then pull out the plug.

I usually try to keep the front speaker cables the same length, but they do not have to be exact.
