i've been laid up in bed for the last week with pneumonia of all things, so between sleeping coughing & sweating i've had time to have a good old surf around the net. i came across some really positive comments on another forum for the above dac, but have not heard of it before.i must admit it...

The tweeter can get a bit too lively with brighter amps. the audiolab & cyrus are only examples which err on the brightside. I wouldn't say avoid anything ,you may find they work well for you. But i would imagine the mezzo's gelling with more full bodied amps. Same old story go & listen,

i bought my mezzos back in 2009 to liven up my ca540 amp.it certainly did the trick. They now sit on the end of Rocksan Caspian M1 pre/power set up worth 3 grand & are not totally out of their depth. I reckon as long as you are carefull with the tweeter, ie keep it away from bright amps...

don,t panic the mezzo 6 are great, use them as your main 2 channel & get a c/a amp from the 640/ 650 range or above from the past couple of generations & you will enjoy your music a whole lot more for a few quid . While you make your mind up about your big upgrade. i get the feeling the mezzo...
