    Just enjoy...

Sure, but you could enjoy it better with active speakers, valves, and those gold-wrapped HDMI cables :-)

Your top 10 albums of all time.

Can't believe that Television "Marquee Moon" hasn't made an appearance. Great album.

Buying screen + projector ...Please advise.

It's the scale/size of the projected image that is really impressive, completely occupying your attention and most of your field of view. And as it's a reflected image, it's (in my opinion) much less tiring on the eyes than a big tv. So if you can get 80" or more, then you'll be in for a treat!

Buying screen + projector ...Please advise.

That's very small for a projector - thought about a big TV?

    Cyrus products and support

I've had a new DAC XP+ arrive direct from Cyrus with the front buttons wedged in. The unit didn't work and had to go straight back. Cyrus were very attentive and responsive, a replacement unit fresh off the production line arrived a week later.

To Bose or not to Bose

The KEFs are great. I have their ancestors in a smaller 5.1 setup in the house and am still pleased after many years. Go for bigger speakers if you have the space, but you won't be disappointed with the KEFs. The B&W MT50 are a bit more expensive but have received very good reviews too.

    Playstation 4 Owners Thread

My 14 year old son wants to buy a PS4 with money saved up from birthdays/Xmas etc. He already has a PS3 (the newer slim quieter one). He only plays games on it. (Battlefield 4, Assassins Creed etc). No blu-ray/streaming etc. I'm reluctant to let him buy a PS4 (as he also needs my TV to use...

    Cyrus products and support

There's a Cyrus repairer that's been recommended on this forum which is a lot cheaper for older kit than sending to Cyrus. I think it was this one... http://www.amprepairservices.co.uk/#/home/4558956841

    Granite Speaker Plinths

I use the Argos granite plinths (worktop protectors), with spikes from speakers into cups on the plinth, but nothing under the plinths (just the small antislip pads that are already on the plinths. To be honest, I think any bass booming etc from my speakers is more affected by other room...

    Little Belter . . .

I had a hum too, through left speaker, as apparently the Rega P3-24 (and others?) earths through one of the speaker channels? When I rewired the arm with an isokinetic cardas silver wiring upgrade, with dedicated earth to the amp, the hum completely disappeared.
