Sometimes I like quoting lines from a song & incorporating it in the conversation, as I sometimes do with my favourite comedies. This happened last night in Tesco. Two of the employees I get on very well with.

Last night I purchased a Latte from the vending machine. Placed it in the basket but it toppled over, the lid pinged off, spilling the whole lot over the floor. I asked this worker if it could be cleared up and it was.

When I got to the check-out this lady and the coffee clearer were chatting. I thought I'd quote a line from Fawlty Towers, 'the German' episode. I said, "don't mention the coffee. I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it."

They both wet themselves (almost) laughing.
