Yamaha RX-673

Just purchased the RX-673 from Weybridge audio (£299) to replace an old 'bundled' Sony surround system as the amp (TA-VE150) has blown. I am hoping for the time being I can retain the speakers SS-V150, centre line SS-CN150 and the sub SA-W305.

Is this reasonably compatible and do you think I will have any serious problems.

Yamahas are usually easy to pair with. You should be fine.

Hey folks, just bought the Yamaha RX-V673 (black) earlier on due to my Onkyo 508 having sound drop-outs.

Phoned Richers around 4pm and mentioned to them as to how my receiver was and always had sound drop-outs ever since they sold it to me.

The manager Neil said that I could indeed exchange my 'faulty' Onkyo for the Yamaha... was all chuffed.

Got to the shop and the fella working their said that with my taking the Onkyo (perfect nick) back that they would sell to me the Yamaha RX-V673 for only £130.00.... I said okay thx.....

Hope that it will sound nice with my Tannoy Arena's ?
