Yamaha, Bose other

I have a dilema - I am looking into a new TV and speaker setup. I m pretty convinced on the 50" Panasonic TX-P50VT20B but i am unsure on what to do for the speakers. I do not want to run wires to the back of the room so I am limited to 3.1 /pseudo surround system. I am thinking about the Yamaha YSP 5100 with sub or the Bose Lifetstyle 235.

Now comes my additional dilema! - I already have Cyrus CD system with Quad 22 speakers which I could intergrate with the addition of a centre speaker and AV reciever.

Music performance and ipod connectivity are as important as the cimena side of the setup

Any advice or experience would be appreciated

As a former Bose owner I found that you can get far better quality for a lot less money with other products. I sold my old lifestyle system - 10 years old and only one up from entry level - and bought a brand new Denon AVR and had change left over. Depending on budget, you might also want to consider wireless rear speakers.

As for what AVR to partner your speakers, others on here are far more experienced than me and able to answer that question.
