Yamaha AX 763

I have ordered a Yamaha AX 763 AV Amplifier online. The company is having difficulty getting them from Yamaha - I have been waiting a month and they say all retailers in the UK are struggling to get them. I do not understand this as you would think manufacturers would be desperate during a recession to sell products.

Is there any possibility that Yamaha have stopped making this amplifier?

The shortage you refer to is simply down to supply not keeping up with demand.

The Yamaha AV amps have been more popular than they expected.

I dont think they have stopped making them but a new "RX" range of AV amps is due to be released (not sure when).
