Does the yamaha as500 use binding plugs for speaker terminals or banana plugs?

You can use either but you have to remove some little plastic plugs from inside the terminals before you can use bananas. They can be a bit tricky to get out - a small screwdriver is best for carefully easing them out (carefully insert the tip of the driver into the hole and gently pull back out, hopefully bringing the plug with you).

Thanks. For connection (yamaha as500 to Wharfdale sw150), what lead is best 1 rca to 1rca or a Y lead.

The Yamaha arrives tommorow. Haven't tried Subwoofer yet.
