Xbox 360 audio to amp???

Hi really quick question> I have my xbox 360 connected to my plasma with HDMI but now how do I connect to my yamaha amp? Amp is not HDMI only optical or coax! Before using a component lead the audio run via optical but now I have no idea! Cheers

You will need to buy the optical dongle adaptor thingymejig. If you google it you should find them. Alternatively you can adapt the AV cable to fit, there are videos on youtube and elsewhere on the net.

How easy was that!! You prise open the fat end of the component cable and remove the grey plastic casing. That's it!!! Plug in just above HDMI & put digital lead in as normal. Now shows 5.1 on my amp
