Worth upgrading speakers?

I have marantz pm6004 and cd6003 with some mordaunt short avanio 1-XR. Worth considering acoustic audio concept 20 or warfedale 121? Will there be an appreciable difference?

any recommendations on next upgrade step?

What aspect of the aviano 1 xr do you want to improve ? I think Cambridge Audio gear gels well with Mordaunt short- what about a different CDP?

What's your budget/room size and the qualities you look for in speakers in relation to the music you listen to?

Budget less than £500, room 26' x 12' firing across (12' dimension). All sorts of music, pink floyd to Michael buble' !!

I would try the Kefs R100s, cost £600 new but can be had for £550 or less or about £500 ex demo. Try them and see if they are worth it.
