Hi all, forgive my ignorance and feel free to chuckle to yourselves if this is a silly question. I'm getting my first "proppa" AV receiver (Onkyo TX-605 + Tannoy EFX5.1) to replace my dying Sony all-in-one (DAV-S500). I'll now have the luxury of HDMI and component inputs but I can find no indication my TV (32" Philips CRT 32DW9625C) will take anything but a composite input.
Will the receiver output the HDMI and component inputs via composite (until I can afford a nice big HDTV)? I'm a bit of a noob to Receivers and don't want to waste money on cables prematurely. Cheers.
