Streamer AND phono preamp?? How good is it really as a preamp?

I have the Wiim Pro Plus and love it in terms of SQ, room correction - maybe a bit less the app/user interface (especially since Spotify is now external and cannot even control volume with my phone buttons - harrumph)

But it does look good...

Too late! It seems it was only an offer for one day and now it's back to the full price.

For some reason, What Hi-Fi only reviewed it yesterday and drew the same conclusions as everywhere else. It's extremely functional, sounds good, represents a real bargain - but you can get better sound quality for more £££:
