why did it go off

my new LG plasma full hd 60in was in second day full flow and it suddenly went off no power at all it was off for 40 mins then came back to life again i couldent even power it up with remote no lights nothing . any clues

I'd still be wary. You just spent a lot on a TV and you'll always be worrying if it might happen again. won't you?
