Which tv?

Hi,was looking for some advice on buying a new telly,I currently have 4 shortlisted,they are,Sony kdl37ex503,Sony kdl40ex503,Samsung le37c580,Samsung le40c650.I can get the Sony`s for £500/600 respectively and the Samsungs for £429/600 respectively.My new tv would be used for blu ray playback,freeview hd and streaming movies so wifi would be necessary,I know I`d have to buy the necessary dongle for this.Wpuld really appreciate any advice as this will be the last tv I buy for years hopefully.Thanks guys.

I would go for the bigger size TV if it's on your shortlist. Amongst the 40-inch TVs you're considering, The Sony 503 has got excellent reviews, but I was a little disappointed with soft SD images. Samsung C650 would be my choice, but there are people who prefer the Sony. Demo both of them & see what you prefer.

Thanks mate,am very tempted to go for a forty,and am tempted by the Sony,having heard nothing bad a bout it but am attracted to the Samsung too,like you say it`s probably best to have a look at both before deciding,thanks for the advice.

I`ve finally bit the bullet and gone for the Sony kdl37ex503,found it for 500 quid on play.com,amazons price has gone back up to almost 600 quid,just got to wait for delivery now,hope it`ll be as good as everyone reckons it is,bloody good price though.
