One is curved and one is not, is there any difference in picture quality?

I don't think so. I think the difference is just the curve.
*good*. I might buy the curved one from John Lewis. Cheers!

I am getting really confused with the tv issue , i have been and looked at the panasonic dx902 , and it looked great , but only because they had there demo gear running , then i read on these forams that hdr is in a mess and it should be avoided for a year or two. Also concerned that some people have said sky hd looks a mess on these tv,s, and now you have said you may get a 1080p oled , so can you tell me was the 1080 pictures on your oleds any good, or should they be avoided untill there is more content ,i am really tempted by the panasonic but dont want a worst picture ,thanks ian.

ps the 902 went really black on there demo

The Panasonic 902 is a very good TV. Via USB stick HDR looks great and 4K, when I demoed it on 4K HDR blu-ray player through HDMI the picture looked a bit dull for me. The 2D picture is great, no need to worry there. I like the 1080p OLED because it's cheap and is the best 2D picture you can buy. If you want a 65-inch OLED TV that does everything then Selfridges are doing one at £3800 and you can price match this with John Lewis for the 65-inch LG 65eg960v, I have just put a price match in for this TV now. You need the ZD model for the HDMI to do 4K blu Ray player and HDR.

I hear the picture is amazing over 4K HDMI really bright and black. I have demoed it over USB 4K and HDR and the picture is amazing. 2D looks great too on this TV.

It's is a bit of a minefield though so make sure you buy with someone like John Lewis and get your player from Currys that way any problems you can take back for a full refund. If you want the Panasonic 902 go for it.

Sorry but I really can't be bothered reading the whole thread . Why are you selling the calibrated Panasonic OLED Gel?! What's out there that's better?

Nothing I don't think. I just find I can't get on with Panasonic TVs.

Things are moving forward but I still see no point in 4K, what was your problem with the HDR?

I'm still stuck with the Panasonic ZT60 .*biggrin* I will shed a tear when that gets replaced WHICH may well be very soon as I am hoping to install PRIMA CINEMA in the house if it's possible in the UK.

It's not just £21000 (or £26000 depending on which website you read). Each new film will cost $500 to rent.

The money really isn't the issue I spent more on my Rolex and Patek Philippe calatrava watches back in December , the problem is adhering to their specs .you can't just get the PRIMA CINEMA box and dump it in your living room.
