Which Soundbar.

Hi Folks,

just asking your advice on Soundbars. Can anyone reccomend a fairly decent one for around the £300 mark. Must have Ipod/iphone dock too,

I have the Yahama YSP -2200 which is fanastic. Even in a far from idea room set up it still provides excellent sound quality and surround effects (to my untrained ears anyway) and looks fanastic. It is, however, £720.

Waste of money imo, to get anything descent you need to spend some money & if you're going to spend that kind of money then you might as well get seperates, just my oppinion of course.

Some people cannot have a separates system due to space constraints, aesthetics etc.

Yamaha makes some of the best soundbars, like this & this in your budget.

For an ipod dock, you can add this or this or this.

Thats actually why I went for a sound bar - I have no doubt that a separates system at the same price would be better but I was happy to compromise (and to my untrained ears it still sounds great and the wife is happy).

Thanks for all your replys...Wil have a look at the Samsung..which seems a bargain at that price and check out the Yamahas too.
