Contemplating a new TV, I have a Sony 55 from 2015 which is fine but now wanting something bigger, I can happily tolerate the foibles of android currently so a newer model should be an improvement.
The 2 models I am contemplating are the XG 8796 or the XF 9005, both currently available for under £1000 but thinking the 8796 will drop by at least a further £100 or more in the near future.
I have seen both in store but unable to compare with the same picture but I was surprised how good the 8796 was even though it is using a more basic led technology. Maybe newer processing technology is superseding the better tech, I do not know
I was wondering if anyone had direct comparison experience, any help hugely appreciated,
