Hello.

I'm looking to buy a speaker, and I'm hesitating between these five speakers:

Bowers and Wilkins A7 Airplay dock : http://www.fnac.com/Bowers-et-Wilkins-A7-Airplay-dock-noir/a4773641/w-4

JBL Authentics L16 Noyer : http://www.fnac.com/Enceinte-JBL-Authentics-L16-Noyer/a7158291/w-4

Wifi Bose Soundtouch 30 serie II : http://www.fnac.com/Enceinte-Wifi-Bose-Soundtouch-30-serie-II-Black/a7690039/w-4?from=301

Philips DTM9030/10 : http://www.fnac.com/Enceintes-Philips-DTM9030-10/a6480509/w-4?from=301

Sony SRSX9 : http://www.fnac.com/Enceinte-Sony-SRSX9/a7062916/w-4?from=301

I will not move my speaker except on some rare occasions, it's almost always going to stay at the same spot. So the size and weight of the speaker is not important.

I'm not planning to put my music extremely loud. The quality of the sound is much more important.

The price is not important, don't let the price influence your answer.

Ideally I would like you to list the five speakers from best to worst in terms of quality.

Please give me your opinions.

Thanks in advance.

For me, there would be no hesitation. I wouldn't buy any of them.

For example, there's a more interesting and better sounding range of speakers here:

You're comparing apples with oranges.

My gut feeling would be the B&W, but you should listen to as many as you can and decide for yourself, also taking into account the functionality you need.

if it really MUST be a 1 speaker all-in-one type of sollution, I would seriously consider Naim mu-so. I doubt you'll find many that heard at least two of the products you listed (except if it's a dealer). I, personally, heard none, but I did hear a mu-so, and it did sound good - considering it's only 1 speaker. But if you're open to stereo suggestions, you should know you can do better for the money (soundwise).
